This describes how to set up a SendGrid account for a Delivery Integration.

1. Create a SendGrid account

2. Create an API key

Give the API key at least “Mail” permissions, and save its password for later.

3. Go to MergeMail > Delivery Integrations

4. Create a new SMTP Account and enter the following settings:

  • Host:
  • Port: 587
  • Username: apikey
  • Password: The password to the API key from step 2 (above)

Click “Create” and you’re all set! MergeMail will automatically verify that the SMTP settings are working.

Choosing a SendGrid Plan

SendGrid will let you send 40,000 emails for free during your first month, but you’ll want to choose a plan after that. You can find more information about their plans on their Pricing and Plans page.
